Mid March saw the first of eight opportunities for racers to qualify at the area level for the 2021 Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships, known as Loretta Lynns.
Local Dominic Stallings wins three divisions on the weekend.
After a modified schedule in 2020 racers are eager to get their fair shot at an opportunity to compete with the best in the business.
The legendary Budds Creek MX would be host to this first round in 2021. If riders can make the cut here they'll advance on to the regional qualifiers to be held in June of this year before the final transfer to the big show August 2-7 in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. .
Gas Gas rider Timmy Scott races to the win in 65cc (10-11) Limited.
Virginia native Karie Wilson comes out on top in the womens Division.

Gage Stine was on the gas winning both the 250 and 450 B divisions.
